15:1 After a while, in the time of wheat harvest, it happened that Samson visited his wife with a young goat. And he said, "Let me go in to my wife, into her room." But her father would not permit him to go in. 15:2 Her father said, "I really thought that you thoroughly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Is not her younger sister better than she? Please, take her instead." 15:3 And Samson said to them, "This time I shall be blameless regarding the Philistines if I harm them!" 15:4 Then Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches, turned the foxes tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails. 15:5 When he had set the torches on fire, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves. 15:6 Then the Philistines said, "Who has done this?" And they answered, "Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion." So the Philistines came up and burned her and her father with fire. 15:7 Samson said to them, "Since you would do a thing like this, I will surely take revenge on you, and after that I will cease." 15:8 So he attacked them hip and thigh with a great slaughter; then he went down and dwelt in the cleft of the rock of Etam. 15:9 Now the Philistines went up, encamped in Judah, and deployed themselves against Lehi. 15:10 And the men of Judah said, "Why have you come up against us?" So they answered, "We have come up to arrest Samson, to do to him as he has done to us." 15:11 Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam, and said to Samson, "Do you not know that the Philistines rule over us? What is this you have done to us?" And he said to them, "As they did to me, so I have done to them." 15:12 But they said to him, "We have come down to arrest you, that we may deliver you into the hand of the Philistines." Then Samson said to them, "Swear to me that you will not kill me yourselves." 15:13 So they spoke to him, saying, "No, but we will tie you securely and deliver you into their hand; but we will surely not kill you." And they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock. 15:14 When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting against him. Then the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him; and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds broke loose from his hands. 15:15 He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand and took it, and killed a thousand men with it. 15:16 Then Samson said:"With the jawbone of a donkey,Heaps upon heaps,With the jawbone of a donkeyI have slain a thousand men!" 15:17 And so it was, when he had finished speaking, that he threw the jawbone from his hand, and called that place Ramath Lehi. 15:18 Then he became very thirsty; so he cried out to the Lord and said, "You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant; and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?" 15:19 So God split the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came out, and he drank; and his spirit returned, and he revived. Therefore he called its name En Hakkore, which is in Lehi to this day. 15:20 And he judged Israel twenty years in the days of the Philistines.

11:33 「ともし火をともして、それを穴蔵の中や、升の下に置く者はいない。入って来る人に光が見えるように、燭台の上に置く。 11:34 あなたの体のともし火は目である。目が澄んでいれば、あなたの全身が明るいが、濁っていれば、体も暗い。 11:35 だから、あなたの中にある光が消えていないか調べなさい。 11:36 あなたの全身が明るく、少しも暗いところがなければ、ちょうど、ともし火がその輝きであなたを照らすときのように、全身は輝いている。」
11:37 イエスはこのように話しておられたとき、ファリサイ派の人から食事の招待を受けたので、その家に入って食事の席に着かれた。 11:38 ところがその人は、イエスが食事の前にまず身を清められなかったのを見て、不審に思った。 11:39 主は言われた。「実に、あなたたちファリサイ派の人々は、杯や皿の外側はきれいにするが、自分の内側は強欲と悪意に満ちている。 11:40 愚かな者たち、外側を造られた神は、内側もお造りになったではないか。 11:41 ただ、器の中にある物を人に施せ。そうすれば、あなたたちにはすべてのものが清くなる。 11:42 それにしても、あなたたちファリサイ派の人々は不幸だ。薄荷や芸香やあらゆる野菜の十分の一は献げるが、正義の実行と神への愛はおろそかにしているからだ。これこそ行うべきことである。もとより、十分の一の献げ物もおろそかにしてはならないが。 11:43 あなたたちファリサイ派の人々は不幸だ。会堂では上席に着くこと、広場では挨拶されることを好むからだ。 11:44 あなたたちは不幸だ。人目につかない墓のようなものである。その上を歩く人は気づかない。」 11:45 そこで、律法の専門家の一人が、「先生、そんなことをおっしゃれば、わたしたちをも侮辱することになります」と言った。 11:46 イエスは言われた。「あなたたち律法の専門家も不幸だ。人には背負いきれない重荷を負わせながら、自分では指一本もその重荷に触れようとしないからだ。 11:47 あなたたちは不幸だ。自分の先祖が殺した預言者たちの墓を建てているからだ。 11:48 こうして、あなたたちは先祖の仕業の証人となり、それに賛成している。先祖は殺し、あなたたちは墓を建てているからである。 11:49 だから、神の知恵もこう言っている。『わたしは預言者や使徒たちを遣わすが、人々はその中のある者を殺し、ある者を迫害する。』 11:50 こうして、天地創造の時から流されたすべての預言者の血について、今の時代の者たちが責任を問われることになる。 11:51 それは、アベルの血から、祭壇と聖所の間で殺されたゼカルヤの血にまで及ぶ。そうだ。言っておくが、今の時代の者たちはその責任を問われる。 11:52 あなたたち律法の専門家は不幸だ。知識の鍵を取り上げ、自分が入らないばかりか、入ろうとする人々をも妨げてきたからだ。」 11:53 イエスがそこを出て行かれると、律法学者やファリサイ派の人々は激しい敵意を抱き、いろいろの問題でイエスに質問を浴びせ始め、 11:54 何か言葉じりをとらえようとねらっていた。
11:29 And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, "This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. 11:30 "For as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also the Son of Man will be to this generation. 11:31 "The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here. 11:32 "The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. 11:33 "No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. 11:34 "The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. 11:35 "Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. 11:36 "If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light." 11:37 And as He spoke, a certain Pharisee asked Him to dine with him. So He went in and sat down to eat. 11:38 When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that He had not first washed before dinner. 11:39 Then the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness. 11:40 "Foolish ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also? 11:41 "But rather give alms of such things as you have; then indeed all things are clean to you. 11:42 "But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. 11:43 "Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces. 11:44 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like graves which are not seen, and the men who walk over them are not aware of them." 11:45 Then one of the lawyers answered and said to Him, "Teacher, by saying these things You reproach us also." 11:46 And He said, "Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. 11:47 "Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. 11:48 "In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs. 11:49 "Therefore the wisdom of God also said, 'I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,' 11:50 "that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation, 11:51 "from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the temple. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation. 11:52 "Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered." 11:53 And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things, 11:54 lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say, that they might accuse Him.
