11:1 主はモーセとアロンにこう仰せになった。 11:2 イスラエルの民に告げてこう言いなさい。地上のあらゆる動物のうちで、あなたたちの食べてよい生き物は、 11:3 ひづめが分かれ、完全に割れており、しかも反すうするものである。 11:4 従って反すうするだけか、あるいは、ひづめが分かれただけの生き物は食べてはならない。らくだは反すうするが、ひづめが分かれていないから、汚れたものである。 11:5 岩狸は反すうするが、ひづめが分かれていないから、汚れたものである。 11:6 野兎も反すうするが、ひづめが分かれていないから、汚れたものである。 11:7 いのししはひづめが分かれ、完全に割れているが、全く反すうしないから、汚れたものである。 11:8 これらの動物の肉を食べてはならない。死骸に触れてはならない。これらは汚れたものである。 11:9 水中の魚類のうち、ひれ、うろこのあるものは、海のものでも、川のものでもすべて食べてよい。 11:10 しかしひれやうろこのないものは、海のものでも、川のものでも、水に群がるものでも、水の中の生き物はすべて汚らわしいものである。 11:11 これらは汚らわしいものであり、その肉を食べてはならない。死骸は汚らわしいものとして扱え。 11:12 水の中にいてひれやうろこのないものは、すべて汚らわしいものである。 11:13 鳥類のうちで、次のものは汚らわしいものとして扱え。食べてはならない。それらは汚らわしいものである。禿鷲、ひげ鷲、黒禿鷲、 11:14 鳶、隼の類、 11:15 烏の類、 11:16 鷲みみずく、小みみずく、虎ふずく、鷹の類、 11:17 森ふくろう、魚みみずく、大このはずく、 11:18 小きんめふくろう、このはずく、みさご、 11:19 こうのとり、青鷺の類、やつがしら鳥、こうもり。 11:20 羽があり、四本の足で動き、群れを成す昆虫はすべて汚らわしいものである。 11:21 ただし羽があり、四本の足で動き、群れを成すもののうちで、地面を跳躍するのに適した後ろ肢を持つものは食べてよい。 11:22 すなわち、いなごの類、羽ながいなごの類、大いなごの類、小いなごの類は食べてよい。 11:23 しかし、これ以外で羽があり、四本の足をもち、群れを成す昆虫はすべて汚らわしいものである。 11:24 以下の場合にはあなたたちは汚れる。死骸に触れる者はすべて夕方まで汚れる。 11:25 また死骸を持ち運ぶ者もすべて夕方まで汚れる。衣服は水洗いせよ。 11:26 ひづめはあるが、それが完全に割れていないか、あるいは反すうしない動物はすべて汚れたものである。それに触れる者もすべて汚れる。 11:27 四本の足で歩くが、足の裏の膨らみで歩く野生の生き物はすべて汚れたものである。その死骸に触れる者も夕方まで汚れる。 11:28 死骸を持ち運ぶ者は夕方まで汚れる。衣服は水洗いせよ。それらは汚れたものである。 11:29 地上を這う爬虫類は汚れている。もぐらねずみ、とびねずみ、とげ尾とかげの類、 11:30 やもり、大とかげ、とかげ、くすりとかげ、カメレオン。 11:31 以上は爬虫類の中で汚れたものであり、その死骸に触れる者はすべて夕方まで汚れる。 11:32 これらの生き物の一つが死んで、何かの品物の上に落ちた場合、それが木の器、衣服、皮、袋、その他何であれ道具であるなら、汚れる。それは水に浸しておかねばならない。夕方まで汚れるが、それ以後は清い。 11:33 その死骸が土器の中に落ちた場合、その中のものはすべて汚れる。その土器は壊す。 11:34 この器の中の水がかかった食物はすべて汚れる。またその器の水を飲んだ場合、汚れる。 11:35 これらの死骸の一つが、かまどや焜炉に落ちたならば、それらを壊す。汚れたからである。それは汚れたものになる。 11:36 しかし泉やため池に死骸が落ちた場合、その水は清いままである。ただし、その中の死骸に触れた者は汚れる。 11:37 それらの死骸の一つが種もみに落ちた場合、種もみは清いままである。 11:38 しかし種もみが水に浸されていて、その上に死骸が落ちた場合、種もみは汚れる。 11:39 食用の家畜が死んだとき、その死骸に触れた者は夕方まで汚れる。 11:40 その死骸の一部でも食べた者は、その衣服を水洗いせよ。その人は夕方まで汚れている。またその死骸を持ち運んだ者も衣服を水洗いせよ。夕方まで汚れているからである。 11:41 地上を這う爬虫類はすべて汚らわしいものである。食べてはならない。 11:42 すなわち、腹で這うもの、四本ないし更に多くの足で歩くものなど、地上を這う爬虫類はすべて食べてはならない。汚らわしいものである。 11:43 あなたたちはこれらすべての爬虫類によって自分自身を汚らわしいものとしてはならない。これらによって汚れ、それによって身を汚してはならない。 11:44 わたしはあなたたちの神、主である。あなたたちは自分自身を聖別して、聖なる者となれ。わたしが聖なる者だからである。地上を這う爬虫類によって自分を汚してはならない。 11:45 わたしはあなたたちの神になるために、エジプトの国からあなたたちを導き上った主である。わたしは聖なる者であるから、あなたたちも聖なる者となりなさい。 11:46 以上は動物、鳥類、魚類、および地上を這うすべての生き物についての指示であり、 11:47 汚れたものと清いもの、食べてよい生き物と食べてはならない生き物とを区別するためである。
12:1 主はモーセに仰せになった。 12:2 イスラエルの人々に告げてこう言いなさい。妊娠して男児を出産したとき、産婦は月経による汚れの日数と同じ七日間汚れている。 12:3 八日目にはその子の包皮に割礼を施す。 12:4 産婦は出血の汚れが清まるのに必要な三十三日の間、家にとどまる。その清めの期間が完了するまでは、聖なる物に触れたり、聖所にもうでたりしてはならない。 12:5 女児を出産したとき、産婦は月経による汚れの場合に準じて、十四日間汚れている。産婦は出血の汚れが清まるのに必要な六十六日の間、家にとどまる。 12:6 男児もしくは女児を出産した産婦の清めの期間が完了したならば、産婦は一歳の雄羊一匹を焼き尽くす献げ物とし、家鳩または山鳩一羽を贖罪の献げ物として臨在の幕屋の入り口に携えて行き、祭司に渡す。 12:7 祭司がそれを主の御前にささげて、産婦のために贖いの儀式を行うと、彼女は出血の汚れから清められる。これが男児もしくは女児を出産した産婦についての指示である。 12:8 なお産婦が貧しくて小羊に手が届かない場合は、二羽の山鳩または二羽の家鳩を携えて行き、一羽を焼き尽くす献げ物とし、もう一羽を贖罪の献げ物とする。祭司が産婦のために贖いの儀式を行うと、彼女は清められる。
11:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them, 11:2 "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth: 11:3 'Among the animals, whatever divides the hoof, having cloven hooves and chewing the cud-that you may eat. 11:4 'Nevertheless these you shall not eat among those that chew the cud or those that have cloven hooves: the camel, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you; 11:5 'the rock hyrax, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you; 11:6 'the hare, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you; 11:7 'and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. 11:8 'Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. They are unclean to you. 11:9 'These you may eat of all that are in the water: whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers-that you may eat. 11:10 'But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you. 11:11 'They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination. 11:12 'Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales-that shall be an abomination to you. 11:13 'And these you shall regard as an abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard, 11:14 'the kite, and the falcon after its kind; 11:15 'every raven after its kind, 11:16 'the ostrich, the short-eared owl, the sea gull, and the hawk after its kind; 11:17 'the little owl, the fisher owl, and the screech owl; 11:18 'the white owl, the jackdaw, and the carrion vulture; 11:19 'the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat. 11:20 'All flying insects that creep on all fours shall be an abomination to you. 11:21 'Yet these you may eat of every flying insect that creeps on all fours: those which have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth. 11:22 'These you may eat: the locust after its kind, the destroying locust after its kind, the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind. 11:23 'But all other flying insects which have four feet shall be an abomination to you. 11:24 'By these you shall become unclean; whoever touches the carcass of any of them shall be unclean until evening; 11:25 'whoever carries part of the carcass of any of them shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening: 11:26 'The carcass of any animal which divides the foot, but is not cloven-hoofed or does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches it shall be unclean. 11:27 'And whatever goes on its paws, among all kinds of animals that go on all fours, those are unclean to you. Whoever touches any such carcass shall be unclean until evening. 11:28 'Whoever carries any such carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. It is unclean to you. 11:29 'These also shall be unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the mole, the mouse, and the large lizard after its kind; 11:30 'the gecko, the monitor lizard, the sand reptile, the sand lizard, and the chameleon. 11:31 'These are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening. 11:32 'Anything on which any of them falls, when they are dead shall be unclean, whether it is any item of wood or clothing or skin or sack, whatever item it is, in which any work is done, it must be put in water. And it shall be unclean until evening; then it shall be clean. 11:33 'Any earthen vessel into which any of them falls you shall break; and whatever is in it shall be unclean: 11:34 'in such a vessel, any edible food upon which water falls becomes unclean, and any drink that may be drunk from it becomes unclean. 11:35 'And everything on which a part of any such carcass falls shall be unclean; whether it is an oven or cooking stove, it shall be broken down; for they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you. 11:36 'Nevertheless a spring or a cistern, in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean, but whatever touches any such carcass becomes unclean. 11:37 'And if a part of any such carcass falls on any planting seed which is to be sown, it remains clean. 11:38 'But if water is put on the seed, and if a part of any such carcass falls on it, it becomes unclean to you. 11:39 'And if any animal which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until evening. 11:40 'He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. 11:41 'And every creeping thing that creeps on the earth shall be an abomination. It shall not be eaten. 11:42 'Whatever crawls on its belly, whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet among all creeping things that creep on the earth-these you shall not eat, for they are an abomination. 11:43 'You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps; nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, lest you be defiled by them. 11:44 'For I am the Lord your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth. 11:45 'For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. 11:46 'This is the law of the animals and the birds and every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth, 11:47 'to distinguish between the unclean and the clean, and between the animal that may be eaten and the animal that may not be eaten.' "
12:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 12:2 "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'If a woman has conceived, and borne a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her customary impurity she shall be unclean. 12:3 'And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. 12:4 'She shall then continue in the blood of her purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled. 12:5 'But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her customary impurity, and she shall continue in the blood of her purification sixty-six days. 12:6 'When the days of her purification are fulfilled, whether for a son or a daughter, she shall bring to the priest a lamb of the first year as a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove as a sin offering, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 12:7 'Then he shall offer it before the Lord, and make atonement for her. And she shall be clean from the flow of her blood. This is the law for her who has borne a male or a female. 12:8 'And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she may bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons-one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be clean.' "
25:1 「そこで、天の国は次のようにたとえられる。十人のおとめがそれぞれともし火を持って、花婿を迎えに出て行く。 25:2 そのうちの五人は愚かで、五人は賢かった。 25:3 愚かなおとめたちは、ともし火は持っていたが、油の用意をしていなかった。 25:4 賢いおとめたちは、それぞれのともし火と一緒に、壺に油を入れて持っていた。 25:5 ところが、花婿の来るのが遅れたので、皆眠気がさして眠り込んでしまった。 25:6 真夜中に『花婿だ。迎えに出なさい』と叫ぶ声がした。 25:7 そこで、おとめたちは皆起きて、それぞれのともし火を整えた。 25:8 愚かなおとめたちは、賢いおとめたちに言った。『油を分けてください。わたしたちのともし火は消えそうです。』 25:9 賢いおとめたちは答えた。『分けてあげるほどはありません。それより、店に行って、自分の分を買って来なさい。』 25:10 愚かなおとめたちが買いに行っている間に、花婿が到着して、用意のできている五人は、花婿と一緒に婚宴の席に入り、戸が閉められた。 25:11 その後で、ほかのおとめたちも来て、『御主人様、御主人様、開けてください』と言った。 25:12 しかし主人は、『はっきり言っておく。わたしはお前たちを知らない』と答えた。 25:13 だから、目を覚ましていなさい。あなたがたは、その日、その時を知らないのだから。」
25:14 「天の国はまた次のようにたとえられる。ある人が旅行に出かけるとき、僕たちを呼んで、自分の財産を預けた。 25:15 それぞれの力に応じて、一人には五タラントン、一人には二タラントン、もう一人には一タラントンを預けて旅に出かけた。早速、 25:16 五タラントン預かった者は出て行き、それで商売をして、ほかに五タラントンをもうけた。 25:17 同じように、二タラントン預かった者も、ほかに二タラントンをもうけた。 25:18 しかし、一タラントン預かった者は、出て行って穴を掘り、主人の金を隠しておいた。 25:19 さて、かなり日がたってから、僕たちの主人が帰って来て、彼らと清算を始めた。 25:20 まず、五タラントン預かった者が進み出て、ほかの五タラントンを差し出して言った。『御主人様、五タラントンお預けになりましたが、御覧ください。ほかに五タラントンもうけました。』 25:21 主人は言った。『忠実な良い僕だ。よくやった。お前は少しのものに忠実であったから、多くのものを管理させよう。主人と一緒に喜んでくれ。』 25:22 次に、二タラントン預かった者も進み出て言った。『御主人様、二タラントンお預けになりましたが、御覧ください。ほかに二タラントンもうけました。』 25:23 主人は言った。『忠実な良い僕だ。よくやった。お前は少しのものに忠実であったから、多くのものを管理させよう。主人と一緒に喜んでくれ。』 25:24 ところで、一タラントン預かった者も進み出て言った。『御主人様、あなたは蒔かない所から刈り取り、散らさない所からかき集められる厳しい方だと知っていましたので、 25:25 恐ろしくなり、出かけて行って、あなたのタラントンを地の中に隠して／おきました。御覧ください。これがあなたのお金です。』 25:26 主人は答えた。『怠け者の悪い僕だ。わたしが蒔かない所から刈り取り、散らさない所からかき集めることを知っていたのか。 25:27 それなら、わたしの金を銀行に入れておくべきであった。そうしておけば、帰って来たとき、利息付きで返してもらえたのに。 25:28 さあ、そのタラントンをこの男から取り上げて、十タラントン持っている者に与えよ。 25:29 だれでも持っている人は更に与えられて豊かになるが、持っていない人は持っているものまでも取り上げられる。 25:30 この役に立たない僕を外の暗闇に追い出せ。そこで泣きわめいて歯ぎしりするだろう。』」
25:1 "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 25:2 "Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 25:3 "Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 25:4 "but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 25:5 "But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 25:6 "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' 25:7 "Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 25:8 "And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' 25:9 "But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' 25:10 "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 25:11 "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' 25:12 "But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' 25:13 "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. 25:14 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 25:15 "And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 25:16 "Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 25:17 "And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 25:18 "But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money. 25:19 "After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 25:20 "So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.' 25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.' 25:22 "He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.' 25:23 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.' 25:24 "Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25:25 'And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.' 25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 25:27 'So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 25:28 'Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. 25:29 'For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 25:30 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
