旧約　エゼキエル5章

　 [ 5 ] 5:1 人の子よ、あなたは鋭い剣を取って理髪師のかみそりのようにそれを手に持ち、あなたの髪の毛とひげをそり、その毛を秤にかけて分けなさい。 5:2 その三分の一は包囲の期間が終わったときに都の中で火で燃やし、ほかの三分の一は都の周りで剣で打ち、残り三分の一は風に乗せて散らしなさい。わたしは剣を抜いてその後を追う。 5:3 あなたはその中から毛を少し取って着物の裾に包み、 5:4 更にその幾らかを取って火に投げ入れ、火で燃やしなさい。そこからまた火が出て、イスラエルの全家に及ぶであろう。 5:5 主なる神はこう言われる。「これはエルサレムのことである。わたしはこの都を国々の中に置き、その周りを諸国が取り巻くようにした。 5:6 しかし、この都はそれらの国々よりも、いっそうわたしの裁きに逆らい、周りの諸国より激しくわたしの掟に逆らった。まことに彼らはわたしの裁きを拒み、わたしの掟に従って歩もうとしなかった。」 5:7 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる。「お前たちが周りの国々よりもいっそうかたくなで、わたしの掟に従って歩まず、わたしの裁きを行わず、周りの国々で定められている裁きほどにも行わなかったので、 5:8 主なる神はこう言われる。わたしもお前に立ち向かい、国々の目の前でお前の中で裁きを行う。 5:9 わたしがお前に対して行うことは、わたしが今まで行ったこともなければ、またこれから再び行うこともないようなことである。それはお前が行ったあらゆる忌まわしいことのゆえである。 5:10 それゆえ、お前の中で親がその子を食べ、子がその親を食べるようなことが起こる。わたしはお前に対して裁きを行い、残っている者をすべてあらゆる方向に散らせてしまう。 5:11 それゆえ――わたしは生きている、と主なる神は言われる――お前はあらゆる憎むべきものと忌まわしいものをもってわたしの聖所を汚したので、わたしもまた必ずお前をそり落とす。わたしは憐れみの目をかけず、同情もしない。 5:12 お前の中で三分の一は疫病で死んだり、飢えで息絶えたりし、三分の一は都の周りで剣にかけられて倒れ、残る三分の一は、わたしがあらゆる方向に散らし、剣を抜いてその後を追う。 5:13 わたしは彼らに向かって怒れるだけ怒り、憤りに身をまかせて、恨みを晴らす。そのとき、主であるわたしが憤れるだけ憤り、熱情をもって語ったということを彼らは知るようになる。 5:14 わたしはお前を廃虚とし、すべての旅人の目にも、周りの国々にも、嘲りの的とする。 5:15 わたしが怒りと憤りと激しい懲らしめをもってお前を裁くとき、お前は周りの国々の嘲りとそしりの的となり、教訓となり脅威となる。主なるわたしがこれを告げる。 5:16 わたしは滅びに定められた者に対して悲惨な飢えの矢を放つ。お前たちを滅ぼすためにそれを放つとき、わたしは飢えをますますひどくし、パンをつるして蓄える棒を折る。 5:17 わたしは飢えと狂暴な獣をお前たちに送り込み、子供たちを奪わせる。疫病と流血はお前の中を通り抜ける。またわたしは剣をお前に臨ませる。主なるわたしがこれを告げる。」

5:1 "And you, son of man, take a sharp sword, take it as a barber's razor, and pass it over your head and your beard; then take scales to weigh and divide the hair. 5:2 "You shall burn with fire one-third in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are finished; then you shall take one-third and strike around it with the sword, and one-third you shall scatter in the wind: I will draw out a sword after them. 5:3 "You shall also take a small number of them and bind them in the edge of your garment. 5:4 "Then take some of them again and throw them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will go out into all the house of Israel. 5:5 "Thus says the Lord God: 'This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries all around her. 5:6 'She has rebelled against My judgments by doing wickedness more than the nations, and against My statutes more than the countries that are all around her; for they have refused My judgments, and they have not walked in My statutes.' 5:7 "Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Because you have multiplied disobedience more than the nations that are all around you, have not walked in My statutes nor kept My judgments, nor even done according to the judgments of the nations that are all around you'- 5:8 "therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Indeed I, even I, am against you and will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations. 5:9 'And I will do among you what I have never done, and the like of which I will never do again, because of all your abominations. 5:10 'Therefore fathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments among you, and all of you who remain I will scatter to all the winds. 5:11 'Therefore, as I live,' says the Lord God, 'surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity. 5:12 'One-third of you shall die of the pestilence, and be consumed with famine in your midst; and one-third shall fall by the sword all around you; and I will scatter another third to all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. 5:13 'Thus shall My anger be spent, and I will cause My fury to rest upon them, and I will be avenged; and they shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it in My zeal, when I have spent My fury upon them. 5:14 'Moreover I will make you a waste and a reproach among the nations that are all around you, in the sight of all who pass by. 5:15 'So it shall be a reproach, a taunt, a lesson, and an astonishment to the nations that are all around you, when I execute judgments among you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I, the Lord, have spoken. 5:16 'When I send against them the terrible arrows of famine which shall be for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, I will increase the famine upon you and cut off your supply of bread. 5:17 'So I will send against you famine and wild beasts, and they will bereave you. Pestilence and blood shall pass through you, and I will bring the sword against you. I, the Lord, have spoken.' "

[ 3 ] ◆イエスはモーセにまさる

3:1 だから、天の召しにあずかっている聖なる兄弟たち、わたしたちが公に言い表している使者であり、大祭司であるイエスのことを考えなさい。 3:2 モーセが神の家全体の中で忠実であったように、イエスは、御自身を立てた方に忠実であられました。 3:3 家を建てる人が家そのものよりも尊ばれるように、イエスはモーセより大きな栄光を受けるにふさわしい者とされました。 3:4 どんな家でもだれかが造るわけです。万物を造られたのは神なのです。 3:5 さて、モーセは将来語られるはずのことを証しするために、仕える者として神の家全体の中で忠実でしたが、 3:6 キリストは御子として神の家を忠実に治められるのです。もし確信と希望に満ちた誇りとを持ち続けるならば、わたしたちこそ神の家なのです。

◆神の民の安息

3:7 だから、聖霊がこう言われるとおりです。「今日、あなたたちが神の声を聞くなら、 3:8 荒れ野で試練を受けたころ、／神に反抗したときのように、／心をかたくなにしてはならない。 3:9 -10荒れ野であなたたちの先祖は／わたしを試み、験し、／四十年の間わたしの業を見た。だから、わたしは、その時代の者たちに対して／憤ってこう言った。『彼らはいつも心が迷っており、／わたしの道を認めなかった。』 3:11 そのため、わたしは怒って誓った。『彼らを決してわたしの安息に／あずからせはしない』と。」

3:1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 3:2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. 3:3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. 3:4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. 3:5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, 3:6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. 3:7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:"Today, if you will hear His voice, 3:8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,In the day of trial in the wilderness, 3:9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,And saw My works forty years. 3:10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,And said, 'They always go astray in their heart,And they have not known My ways.' 3:11 So I swore in My wrath,'They shall not enter My rest.' "
