28:1 その同じ年、ユダの王ゼデキヤの治世の初め、第四年の五月に、主の神殿において、ギブオン出身の預言者、アズルの子ハナンヤが、祭司とすべての民の前でわたしに言った。 28:2 「イスラエルの神、万軍の主はこう言われる。わたしはバビロンの王の軛を打ち砕く。 28:3 二年のうちに、わたしはバビロンの王ネブカドネツァルがこの場所から奪って行った主の神殿の祭具をすべてこの場所に持ち帰らせる。 28:4 また、バビロンへ連行されたユダの王、ヨヤキムの子エコンヤおよびバビロンへ行ったユダの捕囚の民をすべて、わたしはこの場所へ連れ帰る、と主は言われる。なぜなら、わたしがバビロンの王の軛を打ち砕くからである。」 28:5 そこで、預言者エレミヤは主の神殿に立っていた祭司たちとすべての民の前で、預言者ハナンヤに言った。 28:6 預言者エレミヤは言った。「アーメン、どうか主がそのとおりにしてくださるように。どうか主があなたの預言の言葉を実現し、主の神殿の祭具と捕囚の民すべてをバビロンからこの場所に戻してくださるように。 28:7 だが、わたしがあなたと民すべての耳に告げるこの言葉をよく聞け。 28:8 あなたやわたしに先立つ昔の預言者たちは、多くの国、強大な王国に対して、戦争や災害や疫病を預言した。 28:9 平和を預言する者は、その言葉が成就するとき初めて、まことに主が遣わされた預言者であることが分かる。」 28:10 すると預言者ハナンヤは、預言者エレミヤの首から軛をはずして打ち砕いた。 28:11 そして、ハナンヤは民すべての前で言った。「主はこう言われる。わたしはこのように、二年のうちに、あらゆる国々の首にはめられているバビロンの王ネブカドネツァルの軛を打ち砕く。」そこで、預言者エレミヤは立ち去った。 28:12 預言者ハナンヤが、預言者エレミヤの首から軛をはずして打ち砕いた後に、主の言葉がエレミヤに臨んだ。 28:13 「行って、ハナンヤに言え。主はこう言われる。お前は木の軛を打ち砕いたが、その代わりに、鉄の軛を作った。 28:14 イスラエルの神、万軍の主はこう言われる。わたしは、これらの国すべての首に鉄の軛をはめて、バビロンの王ネブカドネツァルに仕えさせる。彼らはその奴隷となる。わたしは野の獣まで彼に与えた。」 28:15 更に、預言者エレミヤは、預言者ハナンヤに言った。「ハナンヤよ、よく聞け。主はお前を遣わされていない。お前はこの民を安心させようとしているが、それは偽りだ。 28:16 それゆえ、主はこう言われる。『わたしはお前を地の面から追い払う』と。お前は今年のうちに死ぬ。主に逆らって語ったからだ。」 28:17 預言者ハナンヤは、その年の七月に死んだ。
28:1 And it happened in the same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, who was from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, 28:2 "Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: 'I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. 28:3 'Within two full years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon. 28:4 'And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went to Babylon,' says the Lord, 'for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.' " 28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of the Lord, 28:6 and the prophet Jeremiah said, "Amen! The Lord do so; the Lord perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the Lord's house and all who were carried away captive, from Babylon to this place. 28:7 "Nevertheless hear now this word that I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people: 28:8 "The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many countries and great kingdoms-of war and disaster and pestilence. 28:9 "As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, the prophet will be known as one whom the Lord has truly sent." 28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke off the prophet Jeremiah's neck and broke it. 28:11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, "Thus says the Lord: 'Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years.' " And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. 28:12 Now the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, 28:13 "Go and tell Hananiah, saying, 'Thus says the Lord: "You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made in their place yokes of iron." 28:14 'For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. I have given him the beasts of the field also." ' " 28:15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, "Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie. 28:16 "Therefore thus says the Lord: 'Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the Lord.' " 28:17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
3:1 この言葉は真実です。
3:1 「監督の職を求める人がいれば、その人は良い仕事を望んでいる。」 3:2 だから、監督は、非のうちどころがなく、一人の妻の夫であり、節制し、分別があり、礼儀正しく、客を親切にもてなし、よく教えることができなければなりません。 3:3 また、酒におぼれず、乱暴でなく、寛容で、争いを好まず、金銭に執着せず、 3:4 自分の家庭をよく治め、常に品位を保って子供たちを従順な者に育てている人でなければなりません。 3:5 自分の家庭を治めることを知らない者に、どうして神の教会の世話ができるでしょうか。 3:6 監督は、信仰に入って間もない人ではいけません。それでは高慢になって悪魔と同じ裁きを受けかねないからです。 3:7 更に、監督は、教会以外の人々からも良い評判を得ている人でなければなりません。そうでなければ、中傷され、悪魔の罠に陥りかねないからです。
3:1 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3:3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 3:4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 3:5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); 3:6 not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. 3:7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
