48:1 ヤコブの家よ、これを聞け。ユダの水に源を発し／イスラエルの名をもって呼ばれる者よ。まこともなく、恵みの業をすることもないのに／主の名をもって誓い／イスラエルの神の名を唱える者よ。 48:2 聖なる都に属する者と称され／その御名を万軍の主と呼ぶイスラエルの神に／依りすがる者よ。 48:3 初めからのことをわたしは既に告げてきた。わたしの口から出た事をわたしは知らせた。突如、わたしは事を起こし、それは実現した。 48:4 お前が頑固で、鉄の首筋をもち／青銅の額をもつことを知っているから 48:5 わたしはお前に昔から知らせ／事が起こる前に告げておいた。これらのことを起こしたのは、わたしの偶像だ／これを命じたのは、わたしの木像と鋳像だと／お前に言わせないためだ。 48:6 お前の聞いていたこと、そのすべての事を見よ。自分でもそれを告げうるではないか。これから起こる新しいことを知らせよう／隠されていたこと、お前の知らぬことを。 48:7 それは今、創造された。昔にはなかったもの、昨日もなかったこと。それをお前に聞かせたことはない。見よ、わたしは知っていたと／お前に言わせないためだ。 48:8 お前は聞いたこともなく、知ってもおらず／耳も開かれたことはなかった。お前は裏切りを重ねる者／生まれたときから背く者と呼ばれていることを／わたしは知っていたから。 48:9 わたしは、わたしの名のために怒りを抑え／わたしの栄誉のために耐えて／お前を滅ぼさないようにした。 48:10 見よ、わたしは火をもってお前を練るが／銀としてではない。わたしは苦しみの炉でお前を試みる。 48:11 わたし自身のために、わたし自身のために／わたしは事を起こす。わたしの栄光が汚されてよいであろうか。わたしはそれをほかの者には与えない。 48:12 ヤコブよ、わたしに耳を傾けよ。わたしが呼び出したイスラエル。わたしは神、初めでありまた終わりであるもの。 48:13 わたしの手は地の基を据え／わたしの右の手は天を延べた。わたしが彼らに呼びかけると、共に立ち上がる。 48:14 皆、集まって聞くがよい。彼らのうちに、これを告げた者があろうか。主の愛される者が、主の御旨をバビロンに行い／主の御腕となる人が、カルデア人に行うことを。 48:15 わたしが宣言し、わたしが彼を呼んだ。彼を連れて来て、その道を成し遂げさせる。 48:16 わたしのもとに近づいて、聞くがよい。わたしは初めから、ひそかに語ったことはない。事の起こるとき、わたしは常にそこにいる。今、主である神はわたしを遣わし／その霊を与えてくださった。 48:17 イスラエルの聖なる神／あなたを贖う主はこう言われる。わたしは主、あなたの神／わたしはあなたを教えて力をもたせ／あなたを導いて道を行かせる。 48:18 わたしの戒めに耳を傾けるなら／あなたの平和は大河のように／恵みは海の波のようになる。 48:19 あなたの子孫は砂のように／あなたから出る子らは砂の粒のように増え／その名はわたしの前から／断たれることも、滅ぼされることもない。 48:20 バビロンを出よ、カルデアを逃げ去るがよい。喜びの声をもって告げ知らせ／地の果てまで響かせ、届かせよ。主は僕ヤコブを贖われた、と言え。 48:21 主が彼らを導いて乾いた地を行かせるときも／彼らは渇くことがない。主は彼らのために岩から水を流れ出させる。岩は裂け、水がほとばしる。 48:22 神に逆らう者に平和はない、と主は言われる。
48:1 "Hear this, O house of Jacob,Who are called by the name of Israel,And have come forth from the wellsprings of Judah;Who swear by the name of the Lord,And make mention of the God of Israel,But not in truth or in righteousness; 48:2 For they call themselves after the holy city,And lean on the God of Israel;The Lord of hosts is His name: 48:3 "I have declared the former things from the beginning;They went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it.Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass. 48:4 Because I knew that you were obstinate,And your neck was an iron sinew,And your brow bronze, 48:5 Even from the beginning I have declared it to you;Before it came to pass I proclaimed it to you,Lest you should say, 'My idol has done them,And my carved image and my molded imageHave commanded them.' 48:6 "You have heard;See all this.And will you not declare it?I have made you hear new things from this time,Even hidden things, and you did not know them. 48:7 They are created now and not from the beginning;And before this day you have not heard them,Lest you should say, 'Of course I knew them.' 48:8 Surely you did not hear,Surely you did not know;Surely from long ago your ear was not opened.For I knew that you would deal very treacherously,And were called a transgressor from the womb. 48:9 "For My name's sake I will defer My anger,And for My praise I will restrain it from you,So that I do not cut you off. 48:10 Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver;I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. 48:11 For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it;For how should My name be profaned?And I will not give My glory to another. 48:12 "Listen to Me, O Jacob,And Israel, My called:I am He, I am the First,I am also the Last. 48:13 Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth,And My right hand has stretched out the heavens;When I call to them,They stand up together. 48:14 "All of you, assemble yourselves, and hear!Who among them has declared these things?The Lord loves him;He shall do His pleasure on Babylon,And His arm shall be against the Chaldeans. 48:15 I, even I, have spoken;Yes, I have called him,I have brought him, and his way will prosper. 48:16 "Come near to Me, hear this:I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;From the time that it was, I was there.And now the Lord God and His SpiritHave sent Me." 48:17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,The Holy One of Israel:"I am the Lord your God,Who teaches you to profit,Who leads you by the way you should go. 48:18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!Then your peace would have been like a river,And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. 48:19 Your descendants also would have been like the sand,And the offspring of your body like the grains of sand;His name would not have been cut offNor destroyed from before Me." 48:20 Go forth from Babylon!Flee from the Chaldeans!With a voice of singing,Declare, proclaim this,Utter it to the end of the earth;Say, "The Lord has redeemedHis servant Jacob!" 48:21 And they did not thirstWhen He led them through the deserts;He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them;He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out. 48:22 "There is no peace," says the Lord, "for the wicked."
2:1 さて、あなたがたは、以前は自分の過ちと罪のために死んでいたのです。 2:2 この世を支配する者、かの空中に勢力を持つ者、すなわち、不従順な者たちの内に今も働く霊に従い、過ちと罪を犯して歩んでいました。 2:3 わたしたちも皆、こういう者たちの中にいて、以前は肉の欲望の赴くままに生活し、肉や心の欲するままに行動していたのであり、ほかの人々と同じように、生まれながら神の怒りを受けるべき者でした。 2:4 しかし、憐れみ豊かな神は、わたしたちをこの上なく愛してくださり、その愛によって、 2:5 罪のために死んでいたわたしたちをキリストと共に生かし、――あなたがたの救われたのは恵みによるのです―― 2:6 キリスト・イエスによって共に復活させ、共に天の王座に着かせてくださいました。 2:7 こうして、神は、キリスト・イエスにおいてわたしたちにお示しになった慈しみにより、その限りなく豊かな恵みを、来るべき世に現そうとされたのです。 2:8 事実、あなたがたは、恵みにより、信仰によって救われました。このことは、自らの力によるのではなく、神の賜物です。 2:9 行いによるのではありません。それは、だれも誇ることがないためなのです。 2:10 なぜなら、わたしたちは神に造られたものであり、しかも、神が前もって準備してくださった善い業のために、キリスト・イエスにおいて造られたからです。わたしたちは、その善い業を行って歩むのです。
[ 2 ] 2:1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2:2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 2:3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 2:5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 2:7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
