3:1 何事にも時があり／天の下の出来事にはすべて定められた時がある。 3:2 生まれる時、死ぬ時／植える時、植えたものを抜く時 3:3 殺す時、癒す時／破壊する時、建てる時 3:4 泣く時、笑う時／嘆く時、踊る時 3:5 石を放つ時、石を集める時／抱擁の時、抱擁を遠ざける時 3:6 求める時、失う時／保つ時、放つ時 3:7 裂く時、縫う時／黙する時、語る時 3:8 愛する時、憎む時／戦いの時、平和の時。 3:9 人が労苦してみたところで何になろう。 3:10 わたしは、神が人の子らにお与えになった務めを見極めた。 3:11 神はすべてを時宜にかなうように造り、また、永遠を思う心を人に与えられる。それでもなお、神のなさる業を始めから終りまで見極めることは許されていない。 3:12 わたしは知った／人間にとって最も幸福なのは／喜び楽しんで一生を送ることだ、と 3:13 人だれもが飲み食いし／その労苦によって満足するのは／神の賜物だ、と。 3:14 わたしは知った／すべて神の業は永遠に不変であり／付け加えることも除くことも許されない、と。神は人間が神を畏れ敬うように定められた。 3:15 今あることは既にあったこと／これからあることも既にあったこと。追いやられたものを、神は尋ね求められる。 3:16 太陽の下、更にわたしは見た。裁きの座に悪が、正義の座に悪があるのを。 3:17 わたしはこうつぶやいた。正義を行う人も悪人も神は裁かれる。すべての出来事、すべての行為には、定められた時がある。 3:18 人の子らに関しては、わたしはこうつぶやいた。神が人間を試されるのは、人間に、自分も動物にすぎないということを見極めさせるためだ、と。 3:19 人間に臨むことは動物にも臨み、これも死に、あれも死ぬ。同じ霊をもっているにすぎず、人間は動物に何らまさるところはない。すべては空しく、 3:20 すべてはひとつのところに行く。すべては塵から成った。すべては塵に返る。 3:21 人間の霊は上に昇り、動物の霊は地の下に降ると誰が言えよう。 3:22 人間にとって最も幸福なのは、自分の業によって楽しみを得ることだとわたしは悟った。それが人間にふさわしい分である。死後どうなるのかを、誰が見せてくれよう。
3:1 To everything there is a season,A time for every purpose under heaven: 3:2 A time to be born,And a time to die;A time to plant,And a time to pluck what is planted; 3:3 A time to kill,And a time to heal;A time to break down,And a time to build up; 3:4 A time to weep,And a time to laugh;A time to mourn,And a time to dance; 3:5 A time to cast away stones,And a time to gather stones;A time to embrace,And a time to refrain from embracing; 3:6 A time to gain,And a time to lose;A time to keep,And a time to throw away; 3:7 A time to tear,And a time to sew;A time to keep silence,And a time to speak; 3:8 A time to love,And a time to hate;A time of war,And a time of peace. 3:9 What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? 3:10 I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. 3:12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 3:13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor-it is the gift of God. 3:14 I know that whatever God does,It shall be forever.Nothing can be added to it,And nothing taken from it.God does it, that men should fear before Him. 3:15 That which is has already been,And what is to be has already been;And God requires an account of what is past. 3:16 Moreover I saw under the sun:In the place of judgment,Wickedness was there;And in the place of righteousness,Iniquity was there. 3:17 I said in my heart,"God shall judge the righteous and the wicked,For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work." 3:18 I said in my heart, "Concerning the condition of the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals." 3:19 For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. 3:20 All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. 3:21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth? 3:22 So I perceived that nothing is better than that a man should rejoice in his own works, for that is his heritage. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?
6:12 「わたしには、すべてのことが許されている。」しかし、すべてのことが益になるわけではない。「わたしには、すべてのことが許されている。」しかし、わたしは何事にも支配されはしない。 6:13 食物は腹のため、腹は食物のためにあるが、神はそのいずれをも滅ぼされます。体はみだらな行いのためではなく、主のためにあり、主は体のためにおられるのです。 6:14 神は、主を復活させ、また、その力によってわたしたちをも復活させてくださいます。 6:15 あなたがたは、自分の体がキリストの体の一部だとは知らないのか。キリストの体の一部を娼婦の体の一部としてもよいのか。決してそうではない。 6:16 娼婦と交わる者はその女と一つの体となる、ということを知らないのですか。「二人は一体となる」と言われています。 6:17 しかし、主に結び付く者は主と一つの霊となるのです。 6:18 みだらな行いを避けなさい。人が犯す罪はすべて体の外にあります。しかし、みだらな行いをする者は、自分の体に対して罪を犯しているのです。 6:19 知らないのですか。あなたがたの体は、神からいただいた聖霊が宿ってくださる神殿であり、あなたがたはもはや自分自身のものではないのです。 6:20 あなたがたは、代価を払って買い取られたのです。だから、自分の体で神の栄光を現しなさい。
6:12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 6:13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 6:14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 6:16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
