28:1 神に逆らう者は追う者もないのに逃げる。神に従う人は若獅子のように自信がある。 28:2 反乱のときには国に首領となる者が多く出る。分別と知識のある人ひとりによって安定は続く。 28:3 貧しい者が弱者を搾取するのは／雨が洗い流してパンがなくなるようなものだ。 28:4 教えを捨てる者は神に逆らう者を賛美し／教えを守る者は彼らと闘う。 28:5 悪を行う者らは裁きを理解しない。主を尋ね求める人々はすべてを理解する。 28:6 貧乏でも、完全な道を歩む人は／二筋の曲がった道を歩む金持ちより幸いだ。 28:7 教えを守るのは分別のある子。放蕩者と交わる者はその父を辱める。 28:8 利息、高利で財産を殖やす者は／集めても、弱者を憐れむ人に渡すことになろう。 28:9 教えに耳をそむけて聞こうとしない者は／その祈りも忌むべきものと見なされる。 28:10 正しい人を悪の道に迷い込ませる者は／自分の掘った穴に落ちる。無垢な人々は良い嗣業を受ける。 28:11 金持ちは自分を賢いと思い込む。弱くても分別ある人は彼を見抜く。 28:12 神に従う人々が喜び勇むと輝きは増し／神に逆らう者が興ると人は身を隠す。 28:13 罪を隠している者は栄えない。告白して罪を捨てる者は憐れみを受ける。 28:14 いかに幸いなことか、常に恐れを抱いている人。心の頑な者は苦難に陥る。 28:15 獅子がうなり、熊が襲いかかる。神に逆らう者が弱い民を支配する。 28:16 指導者に英知が欠けると搾取が増す。奪うことを憎む人は長寿を得る。 28:17 流血の罪の重荷を負う者は、逃れて墓穴に至る。だれも彼を援助してはならない。 28:18 完全な道を歩む人は救われる。二筋の曲がった道を歩む者は直ちに倒れる。 28:19 自分の土地を耕す人はパンに飽き足りる。空を追う者は乏しさに飽き足りる。 28:20 忠実な人は多くの祝福を受ける。富むことにはやる者は罰せられずには済まない。 28:21 人を偏り見るのはよくない。だれでも一片のパンのために罪を犯しうる。 28:22 貪欲な者は財産を得ようと焦る。やって来るのが欠乏だとは知らない。 28:23 人を懲らしめる者は／舌の滑らかな者より喜ばれる。 28:24 父母のものをかすめて／「これは罪ではない」と言う者は／滅ぼそうとたくらむ者の仲間だ。 28:25 貪欲な者はいさかいを引き起こす。主に依り頼む人は潤される。 28:26 自分の心に依り頼む者は愚か者だ。知恵によって歩む人は救われる。 28:27 貧しい人に与える人は欠乏することがない。目を覆っている者は多くの呪いを受ける。 28:28 神に逆らう者が興ると人は身を隠し／彼らが滅びると神に従う人がふえる。
28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues,But the righteous are bold as a lion. 28:2 Because of the transgression of a land, many are its princes;But by a man of understanding and knowledgeRight will be prolonged. 28:3 A poor man who oppresses the poorIs like a driving rain which leaves no food. 28:4 Those who forsake the law praise the wicked,But such as keep the law contend with them. 28:5 Evil men do not understand justice,But those who seek the Lord understand all. 28:6 Better is the poor who walks in his integrityThan one perverse in his ways, though he be rich. 28:7 Whoever keeps the law is a discerning son,But a companion of gluttons shames his father. 28:8 One who increases his possessions by usury and extortionGathers it for him who will pity the poor. 28:9 One who turns away his ear from hearing the law,Even his prayer is an abomination. 28:10 Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way,He himself will fall into his own pit;But the blameless will inherit good. 28:11 The rich man is wise in his own eyes,But the poor who has understanding searches him out. 28:12 When the righteous rejoice, there is great glory;But when the wicked arise, men hide themselves. 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. 28:14 Happy is the man who is always reverent,But he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity. 28:15 Like a roaring lion and a charging bearIs a wicked ruler over poor people. 28:16 A ruler who lacks understanding is a great oppressor,But he who hates covetousness will prolong his days. 28:17 A man burdened with bloodshed will flee into a pit;Let no one help him. 28:18 Whoever walks blamelessly will be saved,But he who is perverse in his ways will suddenly fall. 28:19 He who tills his land will have plenty of bread,But he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough! 28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings,But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. 28:21 To show partiality is not good,Because for a piece of bread a man will transgress. 28:22 A man with an evil eye hastens after riches,And does not consider that poverty will come upon him. 28:23 He who rebukes a man will find more favor afterwardThan he who flatters with the tongue. 28:24 Whoever robs his father or his mother,And says, "It is no transgression,"The same is companion to a destroyer. 28:25 He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife,But he who trusts in the Lord will be prospered. 28:26 He who trusts in his own heart is a fool,But whoever walks wisely will be delivered. 28:27 He who gives to the poor will not lack,But he who hides his eyes will have many curses. 28:28 When the wicked arise, men hide themselves;But when they perish, the righteous increase.
3:1 兄弟たち、わたしはあなたがたには、霊の人に対するように語ることができず、肉の人、つまり、キリストとの関係では乳飲み子である人々に対するように語りました。 3:2 わたしはあなたがたに乳を飲ませて、固い食物は与えませんでした。まだ固い物を口にすることができなかったからです。いや、今でもできません。 3:3 相変わらず肉の人だからです。お互いの間にねたみや争いが絶えない以上、あなたがたは肉の人であり、ただの人として歩んでいる、ということになりはしませんか。 3:4 ある人が「わたしはパウロにつく」と言い、他の人が「わたしはアポロに」などと言っているとすれば、あなたがたは、ただの人にすぎないではありませんか。 3:5 アポロとは何者か。また、パウロとは何者か。この二人は、あなたがたを信仰に導くためにそれぞれ主がお与えになった分に応じて仕えた者です。 3:6 わたしは植え、アポロは水を注いだ。しかし、成長させてくださったのは神です。 3:7 ですから、大切なのは、植える者でも水を注ぐ者でもなく、成長させてくださる神です。 3:8 植える者と水を注ぐ者とは一つですが、それぞれが働きに応じて自分の報酬を受け取ることになります。 3:9 わたしたちは神のために力を合わせて働く者であり、あなたがたは神の畑、神の建物なのです。
3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3:3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 3:4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal? 3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 3:6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 3:7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building.
