38:1 主は嵐の中からヨブに答えて仰せになった。 38:2 これは何者か。知識もないのに、言葉を重ねて／神の経綸を暗くするとは。 38:3 男らしく、腰に帯をせよ。わたしはお前に尋ねる、わたしに答えてみよ。 38:4 わたしが大地を据えたとき／お前はどこにいたのか。知っていたというなら／理解していることを言ってみよ。 38:5 誰がその広がりを定めたかを知っているのか。誰がその上に測り縄を張ったのか。 38:6 基の柱はどこに沈められたのか。誰が隅の親石を置いたのか。 38:7 そのとき、夜明けの星はこぞって喜び歌い／神の子らは皆、喜びの声をあげた。 38:8 海は二つの扉を押し開いてほとばしり／母の胎から溢れ出た。 38:9 わたしは密雲をその着物とし／濃霧をその産着としてまとわせた。 38:10 しかし、わたしはそれに限界を定め／二つの扉にかんぬきを付け 38:11 「ここまでは来てもよいが越えてはならない。高ぶる波をここでとどめよ」と命じた。 38:12 お前は一生に一度でも朝に命令し／曙に役割を指示したことがあるか 38:13 大地の縁をつかんで／神に逆らう者どもを地上から払い落とせと。 38:14 大地は粘土に型を押していくように姿を変え／すべては装われて現れる。 38:15 しかし、悪者どもにはその光も拒まれ／振り上げた腕は折られる。 38:16 お前は海の湧き出るところまで行き着き／深淵の底を行き巡ったことがあるか。 38:17 死の門がお前に姿を見せ／死の闇の門を見たことがあるか。 38:18 お前はまた、大地の広がりを／隅々まで調べたことがあるか。そのすべてを知っているなら言ってみよ。 38:19 光が住んでいるのはどの方向か。暗黒の住みかはどこか。 38:20 光をその境にまで連れていけるか。暗黒の住みかに至る道を知っているか。 38:21 そのときお前は既に生まれていて／人生の日数も多いと言うのなら／これらのことを知っているはずだ。 38:22 お前は雪の倉に入ったことがあるか。霰の倉を見たことがあるか。 38:23 災いの時のために／戦いや争いの日のために／わたしはこれらを蓄えているのだ。 38:24 光が放たれるのはどの方向か。東風が地上に送られる道はどこか。 38:25 誰が豪雨に水路を引き／稲妻に道を備え 38:26 まだ人のいなかった大地に／無人であった荒れ野に雨を降らせ 38:27 乾ききったところを潤し／青草の芽がもえ出るようにしたのか。 38:28 雨に父親があるだろうか。誰が露の滴を産ませるのか。 38:29 誰の腹から霰は出てくるのか。天から降る霜は誰が産むのか。 38:30 水は凍って石のようになり／深淵の面は固く閉ざされてしまう。 38:31 すばるの鎖を引き締め／オリオンの綱を緩めることがお前にできるか。 38:32 時がくれば銀河を繰り出し／大熊を子熊と共に導き出すことができるか。 38:33 天の法則を知り／その支配を地上に及ぼす者はお前か。 38:34 お前が雨雲に向かって声をあげれば／洪水がお前を包むだろうか。 38:35 お前が送り出そうとすれば／稲妻が「はい」と答えて出て行くだろうか。 38:36 誰が鴇に知恵を授け／誰が雄鶏に分別を与えたのか。 38:37 誰が知恵をもって雲を数え／天にある水の袋を傾けるのか。 38:38 塵が溶けて形を成し／土くれが一塊となるように。 38:39 お前は雌獅子のために獲物を備え／その子の食欲を満たしてやることができるか。 38:40 雌獅子は茂みに待ち伏せ／その子は隠れがにうずくまっている。 38:41 誰が烏のために餌を置いてやるのか／その雛が神に向かって鳴き／食べ物を求めて迷い出るとき。
38:1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said: 38:2 "Who is this who darkens counselBy words without knowledge? 38:3 Now prepare yourself like a man;I will question you, and you shall answer Me. 38:4 "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?Tell Me, if you have understanding. 38:5 Who determined its measurements?Surely you know!Or who stretched the line upon it? 38:6 To what were its foundations fastened?Or who laid its cornerstone, 38:7 When the morning stars sang together,And all the sons of God shouted for joy? 38:8 "Or who shut in the sea with doors,When it burst forth and issued from the womb; 38:9 When I made the clouds its garment,And thick darkness its swaddling band; 38:10 When I fixed My limit for it,And set bars and doors; 38:11 When I said,'This far you may come, but no farther,And here your proud waves must stop!' 38:12 "Have you commanded the morning since your days began,And caused the dawn to know its place, 38:13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth,And the wicked be shaken out of it? 38:14 It takes on form like clay under a seal,And stands out like a garment. 38:15 From the wicked their light is withheld,And the upraised arm is broken. 38:16 "Have you entered the springs of the sea?Or have you walked in search of the depths? 38:17 Have the gates of death been revealed to you?Or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death? 38:18 Have you comprehended the breadth of the earth?Tell Me, if you know all this. 38:19 "Where is the way to the dwelling of light?And darkness, where is its place, 38:20 That you may take it to its territory,That you may know the paths to its home? 38:21 Do you know it, because you were born then,Or because the number of your days is great? 38:22 "Have you entered the treasury of snow,Or have you seen the treasury of hail, 38:23 Which I have reserved for the time of trouble,For the day of battle and war? 38:24 By what way is light diffused,Or the east wind scattered over the earth? 38:25 "Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water,Or a path for the thunderbolt, 38:26 To cause it to rain on a land where there is no one,A wilderness in which there is no man; 38:27 To satisfy the desolate waste,And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass? 38:28 Has the rain a father?Or who has begotten the drops of dew? 38:29 From whose womb comes the ice?And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth? 38:30 The waters harden like stone,And the surface of the deep is frozen. 38:31 "Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades,Or loose the belt of Orion? 38:32 Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season?Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs? 38:33 Do you know the ordinances of the heavens?Can you set their dominion over the earth? 38:34 "Can you lift up your voice to the clouds,That an abundance of water may cover you? 38:35 Can you send out lightnings, that they may go,And say to you, 'Here we are!'? 38:36 Who has put wisdom in the mind?Or who has given understanding to the heart? 38:37 Who can number the clouds by wisdom?Or who can pour out the bottles of heaven, 38:38 When the dust hardens in clumps,And the clods cling together? 38:39 "Can you hunt the prey for the lion,Or satisfy the appetite of the young lions, 38:40 When they crouch in their dens,Or lurk in their lairs to lie in wait? 38:41 Who provides food for the raven,When its young ones cry to God,And wander about for lack of food?
3:21 ところが今や、律法とは関係なく、しかも律法と預言者によって立証されて、神の義が示されました。 3:22 すなわち、イエス・キリストを信じることにより、信じる者すべてに与えられる神の義です。そこには何の差別もありません。 3:23 人は皆、罪を犯して神の栄光を受けられなくなっていますが、 3:24 ただキリスト・イエスによる贖いの業を通して、神の恵みにより無償で義とされるのです。 3:25 神はこのキリストを立て、その血によって信じる者のために罪を償う供え物となさいました。それは、今まで人が犯した罪を見逃して、神の義をお示しになるためです。 3:26 このように神は忍耐してこられたが、今この時に義を示されたのは、御自分が正しい方であることを明らかにし、イエスを信じる者を義となさるためです。 3:27 では、人の誇りはどこにあるのか。それは取り除かれました。どんな法則によってか。行いの法則によるのか。そうではない。信仰の法則によってです。 3:28 なぜなら、わたしたちは、人が義とされるのは律法の行いによるのではなく、信仰によると考えるからです。 3:29 それとも、神はユダヤ人だけの神でしょうか。異邦人の神でもないのですか。そうです。異邦人の神でもあります。 3:30 実に、神は唯一だからです。この神は、割礼のある者を信仰のゆえに義とし、割礼のない者をも信仰によって義としてくださるのです。 3:31 それでは、わたしたちは信仰によって、律法を無にするのか。決してそうではない。むしろ、律法を確立するのです。
3:21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 3:22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 3:25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 3:26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 3:29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 3:30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
