14:1 知恵ある女は家庭を築く。無知な女は自分の手でそれをこわす。 14:2 主を畏れる人はまっすぐ歩む。主を侮る者は道を曲げる。 14:3 無知な者の口には傲慢の杖。知恵ある人の唇は自分を守る。 14:4 牛がいなければ飼い葉桶は清潔だが／豊作をもたらすのは牛の力。 14:5 忠実な証人は欺かない。欺きの発言をするのはうそつきの証人。 14:6 不遜であれば知恵を求めても得られない。聡明であれば知識は容易に得られる。 14:7 愚か者の前から立ち去るがよい。彼に知識ある唇を認めることはできない。 14:8 思慮深い人は自分の知恵によって道を見分ける。愚か者の無知は欺く。 14:9 無知な者は不遜で互いをなじる。正しい人は互いに受け入れる。 14:10 魂の苦しみを知るのは自分の心。その喜びにも他人はあずからない。 14:11 神に逆らう者の家は断絶する。正しい人の天幕は繁栄する。 14:12 人間の前途がまっすぐなようでも／果ては死への道となることがある。 14:13 笑っていても心の痛むことがあり／喜びが悲しみに終ることもある。 14:14 二心ある者は自らの道に／善人は自らの業に飽かされる。 14:15 未熟な者は何事も信じこむ。熟慮ある人は行く道を見分けようとする。 14:16 知恵ある人は畏れによって悪を避け／愚か者は高慢で自信をもつ。 14:17 短気な者は愚かなことをする。陰謀家は憎まれる。 14:18 浅はかな者は無知を嗣業とし／熟慮ある人は知識をその冠とする。 14:19 神に逆らう者は神に従う人の門の前に／悪人は善人の前に、身を低くする。 14:20 貧乏な者は友にさえ嫌われるが／金持ちを愛する者は多い。 14:21 友を侮ることは罪。貧しい人を憐れむことは幸い。 14:22 罪を耕す者は必ず迷う。善を耕す人は慈しみとまことを得る。 14:23 どのような苦労にも利益がある。口先だけの言葉は欠乏をもたらす。 14:24 知恵ある人の冠はその富。愚か者の冠はその無知。 14:25 真実の証人は魂を救い／欺きの発言をする者は裏切る。 14:26 主を畏れれば頼るべき砦を得／子らのためには避けどころを得る。 14:27 主を畏れることは命の源／死の罠を避けさせる。 14:28 国が強大であれば王は栄光を得る。民が絶えれば君主は滅びる。 14:29 忍耐によって英知は加わる。短気な者はますます無知になる。 14:30 穏やかな心は肉体を生かし／激情は骨を腐らせる。 14:31 弱者を虐げる者は造り主を嘲る。造り主を尊ぶ人は乏しい人を憐れむ。 14:32 神に逆らう者は災いのときに退けられる。神に従う人は死のときにも避けどころを得る。 14:33 聡明な心では知恵は憩っているが／愚か者の中では自らを示す。 14:34 慈善は国を高め、罪は民の恥となる。 14:35 成功をもたらす僕は王に喜び迎えられ／恥をもたらす僕はその怒りを買う。
14:1 The wise woman builds her house,But the foolish pulls it down with her hands. 14:2 He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord,But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him. 14:3 In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride,But the lips of the wise will preserve them. 14:4 Where no oxen are, the trough is clean;But much increase comes by the strength of an ox. 14:5 A faithful witness does not lie,But a false witness will utter lies. 14:6 A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it,But knowledge is easy to him who understands. 14:7 Go from the presence of a foolish man,When you do not perceive in him the lips of knowledge. 14:8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way,But the folly of fools is deceit. 14:9 Fools mock at sin,But among the upright there is favor. 14:10 The heart knows its own bitterness,And a stranger does not share its joy. 14:11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown,But the tent of the upright will flourish. 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man,But its end is the way of death. 14:13 Even in laughter the heart may sorrow,And the end of mirth may be grief. 14:14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways,But a good man will be satisfied from above. 14:15 The simple believes every word,But the prudent considers well his steps. 14:16 A wise man fears and departs from evil,But a fool rages and is self-confident. 14:17 A quick-tempered man acts foolishly,And a man of wicked intentions is hated. 14:18 The simple inherit folly,But the prudent are crowned with knowledge. 14:19 The evil will bow before the good,And the wicked at the gates of the righteous. 14:20 The poor man is hated even by his own neighbor,But the rich has many friends. 14:21 He who despises his neighbor sins;But he who has mercy on the poor, happy is he. 14:22 Do they not go astray who devise evil?But mercy and truth belong to those who devise good. 14:23 In all labor there is profit,But idle chatter leads only to poverty. 14:24 The crown of the wise is their riches,But the foolishness of fools is folly. 14:25 A true witness delivers souls,But a deceitful witness speaks lies. 14:26 In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence,And His children will have a place of refuge. 14:27 The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,To turn one away from the snares of death. 14:28 In a multitude of people is a king's honor,But in the lack of people is the downfall of a prince. 14:29 He who is slow to wrath has great understanding,But he who is impulsive exalts folly. 14:30 A sound heart is life to the body,But envy is rottenness to the bones. 14:31 He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker,But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy. 14:32 The wicked is banished in his wickedness,But the righteous has a refuge in his death. 14:33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding,But what is in the heart of fools is made known. 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation,But sin is a reproach to any people. 14:35 The king's favor is toward a wise servant,But his wrath is against him who causes shame.
11:25 兄弟たち、自分を賢い者とうぬぼれないように、次のような秘められた計画をぜひ知ってもらいたい。すなわち、一部のイスラエル人がかたくなになったのは、異邦人全体が救いに達するまでであり、 11:26 こうして全イスラエルが救われるということです。次のように書いてあるとおりです。「救う方がシオンから来て、／ヤコブから不信心を遠ざける。 11:27 これこそ、わたしが、彼らの罪を取り除くときに、／彼らと結ぶわたしの契約である。」 11:28 福音について言えば、イスラエル人は、あなたがたのために神に敵対していますが、神の選びについて言えば、先祖たちのお陰で神に愛されています。 11:29 神の賜物と招きとは取り消されないものなのです。 11:30 あなたがたは、かつては神に不従順でしたが、今は彼らの不従順によって憐れみを受けています。 11:31 それと同じように、彼らも、今はあなたがたが受けた憐れみによって不従順になっていますが、それは、彼ら自身も今憐れみを受けるためなのです。 11:32 神はすべての人を不従順の状態に閉じ込められましたが、それは、すべての人を憐れむためだったのです。 11:33 ああ、神の富と知恵と知識のなんと深いことか。だれが、神の定めを究め尽くし、神の道を理解し尽くせよう。 11:34 「いったいだれが主の心を知っていたであろうか。だれが主の相談相手であっただろうか。 11:35 だれがまず主に与えて、／その報いを受けるであろうか。」 11:36 すべてのものは、神から出て、神によって保たれ、神に向かっているのです。栄光が神に永遠にありますように、アーメン。
11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:"The Deliverer will come out of Zion,And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; 11:27 For this is My covenant with them,When I take away their sins." 11:28 Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 11:30 For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, 11:31 even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. 11:32 For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all. 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! 11:34 "For who has known the mind of the Lord?Or who has become His counselor?" 11:35 "Or who has first given to HimAnd it shall be repaid to him?" 11:36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.
