5:1 わが子よ、わたしの知恵に耳を傾け／わたしの英知に耳を向けよ。 5:2 そうすれば、あなたは唇に慎みを守り／知識を保つことができる。 5:3 よその女の唇は蜜を滴らせ／その口は油よりも滑らかだ。 5:4 だがやがて、苦よもぎよりも苦くなり／両刃の剣のように鋭くなる。 5:5 彼女の足は死へ下って行き／一歩一歩と、陰府に達する。 5:6 人生の道のりを計ろうともせず／自分の道から外れても、知ることもない。 5:7 それゆえ、子らよ、わたしに聞き従え。わたしの口の言葉からそれてはならない。 5:8 あなたの道を彼女から遠ざけよ。その門口に近寄るな。 5:9 あなたの栄えを他人に／長寿を残酷なものに渡してはならない。 5:10 よその者があなたの力に飽き足りることを許すな。異邦人の家を／あなたが労した実りで満たしてはならない。 5:11 さもなければ後になって／肉も筋も消耗し、あなたは呻き 5:12 言わなければならない。「どうして、わたしの心は諭しを憎み／懲らしめをないがしろにしたのだろうか。 5:13 教えてくれる人の声に聞き従わず／導いてくれる人の声に耳を向けなかった。 5:14 会衆の中でも、共同体の中でも／わたしは最悪の者になりそうだ。」 5:15 あなた自身の井戸から水を汲み／あなた自身の泉から湧く水を飲め。 5:16 その源は溢れ出て／広場に幾筋もの流れができるであろう。 5:17 その水をあなただけのものにせよ。あなたのもとにいるよその者に渡すな。 5:18 あなたの水の源は祝福されよ。若いときからの妻に喜びを抱け。 5:19 彼女は愛情深い雌鹿、優雅なかもしか。いつまでもその乳房によって満ち足り／常にその愛に酔うがよい。 5:20 わが子よ／どうしてよその女に酔うことがあろう／異邦の女の胸を抱くことがあろう。 5:21 人の歩む道は主の御目の前にある。その道を主はすべて計っておられる。 5:22 主に逆らう者は自分の悪の罠にかかり／自分の罪の綱が彼を捕える。 5:23 諭しを受け入れることもなく／重なる愚行に狂ったまま、死ぬであろう。
5:1 My son, pay attention to my wisdom;Lend your ear to my understanding, 5:2 That you may preserve discretion,And your lips may keep knowledge. 5:3 For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey,And her mouth is smoother than oil; 5:4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood,Sharp as a two-edged sword. 5:5 Her feet go down to death,Her steps lay hold of hell. 5:6 Lest you ponder her path of life-Her ways are unstable;You do not know them. 5:7 Therefore hear me now, my children,And do not depart from the words of my mouth. 5:8 Remove your way far from her,And do not go near the door of her house, 5:9 Lest you give your honor to others,And your years to the cruel one; 5:10 Lest aliens be filled with your wealth,And your labors go to the house of a foreigner; 5:11 And you mourn at last,When your flesh and your body are consumed, 5:12 And say:"How I have hated instruction,And my heart despised correction! 5:13 I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers,Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me! 5:14 I was on the verge of total ruin,In the midst of the assembly and congregation." 5:15 Drink water from your own cistern,And running water from your own well. 5:16 Should your fountains be dispersed abroad,Streams of water in the streets? 5:17 Let them be only your own,And not for strangers with you. 5:18 Let your fountain be blessed,And rejoice with the wife of your youth. 5:19 As a loving deer and a graceful doe,Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;And always be enraptured with her love. 5:20 For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman,And be embraced in the arms of a seductress? 5:21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,And He ponders all his paths. 5:22 His own iniquities entrap the wicked man,And he is caught in the cords of his sin. 5:23 He shall die for lack of instruction,And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
8:1 従って、今や、キリスト・イエスに結ばれている者は、罪に定められることはありません。 8:2 キリスト・イエスによって命をもたらす霊の法則が、罪と死との法則からあなたを解放したからです。 8:3 肉の弱さのために律法がなしえなかったことを、神はしてくださったのです。つまり、罪を取り除くために御子を罪深い肉と同じ姿でこの世に送り、その肉において罪を罪として処断されたのです。 8:4 それは、肉ではなく霊に従って歩むわたしたちの内に、律法の要求が満たされるためでした。 8:5 肉に従って歩む者は、肉に属することを考え、霊に従って歩む者は、霊に属することを考えます。 8:6 肉の思いは死であり、霊の思いは命と平和であります。 8:7 なぜなら、肉の思いに従う者は、神に敵対しており、神の律法に従っていないからです。従いえないのです。 8:8 肉の支配下にある者は、神に喜ばれるはずがありません。 8:9 神の霊があなたがたの内に宿っているかぎり、あなたがたは、肉ではなく霊の支配下にいます。キリストの霊を持たない者は、キリストに属していません。 8:10 キリストがあなたがたの内におられるならば、体は罪によって死んでいても、“霊”は義によって命となっています。 8:11 もし、イエスを死者の中から復活させた方の霊が、あなたがたの内に宿っているなら、キリストを死者の中から復活させた方は、あなたがたの内に宿っているその霊によって、あなたがたの死ぬはずの体をも生かしてくださるでしょう。
8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 8:3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 8:4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8:8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 8:10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
